Compounded semaglutide at Bodi Envi from $125 to $155 a month, set against Wegovy® and Ozempic® list prices, manufacturer offers and how insurance treats it.

## At a glance

Semaglutide comes in three forms that people compare on price: Wegovy®, the FDA-approved product for weight management; Ozempic®, the FDA-approved product for type 2 diabetes that contains the same molecule; and personalized compounded semaglutide, which a licensed compounding pharmacy prepares for an individual prescription. They are not interchangeable, and the rest of this guide explains why, but the numbers are the place to start.

| Option | What you pay | Where the number comes from |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Bodi Envi personalized compounded semaglutide, monthly | $155 per month, billed monthly | Bodi Envi Plans page |
| Bodi Envi, 3 month plan | $145 per month, $435 paid once | Bodi Envi Plans page |
| Bodi Envi, 6 month plan | $135 per month, $810 paid once | Bodi Envi Plans page |
| Bodi Envi, 12 month plan | $125 per month, $1,500 paid once | Bodi Envi Plans page |
| Wegovy® pen | $1,349.02 per package, list price, as of September 2026 | NovoCare, explaining list price |
| Ozempic® pen | $1,027.51 per pen, list price, as of September 2026 | NovoCare, explaining list price |

Two notes on reading the brand rows. A list price is what the manufacturer charges wholesalers, not what a patient with insurance pays at the counter, and the manufacturer's own pages say so. And the units differ: the Wegovy® prescribing information describes a package as four single-dose pens, which is four weekly doses, while the Ozempic® label describes its pens as delivering four doses at the 1 mg and 2 mg strengths, so in both cases the figure is roughly a month of the medication at a maintenance dose.

Bodi Envi's price is the same at every dose. That matters more than it sounds, and it gets its own section below.

## What drives the difference

The gap between $155 and $1,349.02 is large enough that it is worth being precise about what it reflects. It is not the same product at two prices. It is two different things.

Wegovy® and Ozempic® are FDA-approved. Their manufacturer ran the clinical trials, submitted the data, and received approval for specific uses. The manufacturer makes them at scale in its own facilities, sets the list price, and offers the savings programs described later in this guide. Everything about the product, from the concentration in the pen to the pen itself, was reviewed before it went on sale.

Personalized Compounded semaglutide is prepared by a licensed pharmacy for one patient, based on that patient's prescription. The FDA's human drug compounding page defines compounding as combining, mixing or altering ingredients of a drug to create a medication tailored to the needs of an individual patient. The FDA also states that compounded drugs are not FDA approved, which means the agency does not review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. According to the FDA's compounding questions and answers, state boards of pharmacy have primary responsibility for day to day oversight of state-licensed pharmacies that are not registered as outsourcing facilities, the 503A pharmacies that Bodi Envi's prescriptions go to.

Bodi Envi puts it directly: compounded personalized semaglutide is not FDA-approved and is not equivalent to FDA-approved products. The lower price is a consequence of that difference, not a discount on the same thing. Anyone weighing the two should weigh that as well, and the provider who reviews your assessment is the right person to talk it through with.

## What is inside Bodi Envi's price

The monthly figure is for a program, not a vial. Bodi Envi publishes what the program includes, and it is worth listing because the brand list price covers only the medication.

The price includes the online health assessment, review by a licensed healthcare provider, ongoing messaging with your care team through the patient portal, and the medication itself when a provider prescribes it, shipped to your home. Clinical services for applicable programs are provided by Wasef Health, PC, and prescriptions for applicable GLP-1 programs are dispensed by VialsRx, a third party U.S. 503A licensed compounding pharmacy.

One published rule shapes the whole comparison: for applicable programs, pricing does not increase based solely on dosage strength. With the branded products, a package is a package whatever the dose, and with some other arrangements a higher dose costs more. At Bodi Envi, if your provider moves you from a starting dose to a maintenance dose over several months, your monthly price does not change. The dose decision stays clinical.

Two limits apply and Bodi Envi states both. Medication is included only when a licensed healthcare provider determines treatment is medically appropriate and issues a prescription. And completing an assessment or paying for a program does not guarantee a prescription. If you want the current figures and the full terms, the Plans page is the source.

## Manufacturer savings and direct pay programs

The manufacturer of Wegovy® publishes programs that bring the price below list for some patients. What follows is only what its own pages said when this guide was checked in September 2026; the pages carry their own terms and expiry dates, and they change.

According to the NovoCare Wegovy® savings offer page, people with commercial insurance that covers the medication may pay as little as $25 per month, with a maximum savings of $100 per month. The same page publishes self pay pricing for people paying without insurance: for new patients using the pen, $199 per month for the first two months, then $349 to $399 per month depending on the dose, and a tablet form starting at $149 per month for its lowest dose. The page marks these as a limited time offer, with pricing to be updated after December 31, 2026, and notes that savings do not count toward a deductible and cannot be submitted to an insurer for reimbursement. Government insurance beneficiaries are excluded from the copay card, and the page describes a separate $50 per month option for eligible Medicare patients with obesity.

Those self-pay figures narrow the gap with compounded treatment considerably, which is the reason to read them alongside the list price rather than the list price alone. They also carry conditions that Bodi Envi's price does not: an introductory period, a dose dependent step up, and an end date. Check the manufacturer's page for the current terms before you count on any of them.

Ozempic® has its own savings program from the same manufacturer, but because it is approved for type 2 diabetes rather than weight management, it is not the natural comparison for a weight management program and its offers are not repeated here.

## Insurance coverage

Bodi Envi's programs are self-pay. Insurance is not required for applicable self-pay programs, and Bodi Envi does not bill health plans for them. That is the whole of what can be said about insurance and Bodi Envi.

For the branded products the picture is different and depends entirely on your plan. In general terms, a health plan decides whether it covers a medication at all, for which diagnoses, and under what conditions. Coverage of GLP-1 medications for weight management varies widely between employers and insurers, and many plans that do cover them require prior authorization, which is a request from your prescriber that the plan approves before it pays. Ozempic® is approved for type 2 diabetes, and plans commonly treat a diabetes prescription differently from a weight management one.

No percentages are quoted here because no source on this page publishes a reliable one. The manufacturer's own pricing pages say the same thing this guide does: the amount you pay largely depends on your prescription drug plan, and the accurate answer comes from the plan itself. If you have coverage, call the number on your card and ask about the specific product and the specific diagnosis before you assume anything.

## Prepaid terms and what they save

Bodi Envi publishes four terms for personalized compounded semaglutide, and the arithmetic between them is simple enough to show in full.

| Term | Monthly equivalent | Paid | Against monthly billing over the same period | Saving |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Monthly | $155 | $155 each month | $155 | none |
| 3 months | $145 | $435 once | $465 | $30 |
| 6 months | $135 | $810 once | $930 | $120 |
| 12 months | $125 | $1,500 once | $1,860 | $360 |

The twelve month plan is $125 per month, which is $30 a month and $360 a year less than monthly billing. The three month plan saves $30 over its term and the six month plan $120. Whether a prepaid term is right for you depends on more than the saving. A prepaid plan is a commitment paid up front, and cancellation and refunds are governed by Bodi Envi's published refund policy, which sets out who is eligible, the time window for a written request, and what happens once medication has been dispensed. Read it before you commit to a term rather than after.

There is also a clinical reason to think in months. The Wegovy® prescribing information sets out a dose escalation over sixteen weeks before a maintenance dose, and the STEP 1 trial that studied the branded product ran for 68 weeks. A provider following a similar approach with compounded treatment will be working over months, not weeks, and the monthly price stays flat across that whole period whatever your dose. Personalized compounded medications differ from commercially available brand-name products in formulation, concentration, excipients, preparation methods, and other characteristics. Accordingly, clinical data from studies involving brand-name products should not be assumed to apply to personalized compounded formulations.

At this time, the studies referenced above have not evaluated the specific personalized compounded formulations being provided. Therefore, no claims of equivalence in safety, efficacy, quality, or clinical outcomes should be inferred from these studies.

## Questions people ask about cost

**Is there a consultation fee on top?** No. The assessment and provider review are inside the published monthly price, and Bodi Envi's cancellation policy does not deduct a separate consultation fee; the policy is the authoritative source for what it does say about cancelling after a provider review.

**Is shipping extra?** Delivery to your home is part of the program. Rates and processing details are published in the shipping policy, which is the source for anything about shipping.

**What if the provider does not prescribe?** A licensed healthcare provider determines whether treatment is appropriate for each individual patient, and treatment is not guaranteed. What happens to your payment in that case is set out in the refund policy.

**Is the compounded price the same in every state?** Bodi Envi publishes one price per program, and every state and metro page on this site shows the same figures.

**Does the price include needles and supplies?** The program price covers the medication when prescribed. Ask your care team through the portal about supplies for your specific prescription, since the pharmacy's presentation determines what you need.

**How does personalized compounded semaglutide compare with personalized compounded tirzepatide on price?** Bodi Envi's personalized compounded tirzepatide program starts at $229 per month billed monthly and runs to $175 per month on a twelve month plan. The tirzepatide cost guide on this site has the full table and the brand comparison for that medication.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does personalized compounded semaglutide cost at Bodi Envi?

The published price is $155 per month billed monthly, $145 per month on a three month plan paid as $435, $135 per month on a six month plan paid as $810, and $125 per month on a twelve month plan paid as $1,500. The price is the same at every dose. Current prices are on the Plans page.

### Does the price go up when my dose goes up?

No. Bodi Envi publishes that, for applicable programs, pricing does not increase based solely on dosage strength. Your provider adjusts your dose on clinical grounds and the monthly price stays where it was.

### What is the list price of Wegovy® right now?

As of September 2026, the manufacturer's NovoCare pricing page lists Wegovy® at $1,349.02 per package. The Wegovy® prescribing information describes a package as four single-dose pens, which is four weekly doses. The manufacturer also publishes savings offers and self pay prices that are lower than the list price, and those are described in this guide with the page they come from.

### Is the medication included in Bodi Envi's price?

Yes, when a licensed provider prescribes it. Medication is included only when a licensed healthcare provider determines treatment is medically appropriate and issues a prescription. Completing an assessment or paying for a program does not guarantee a prescription.

### Does insurance cover personalized compounded semaglutide?

Bodi Envi's programs are self-pay, and insurance is not required for applicable self-pay programs. Whether a health plan covers an FDA-approved product such as Wegovy® depends on the plan and the reason it is prescribed, and prior authorization is common. Bodi Envi cannot tell you what your plan covers; your plan can.

### Why is personalized compounded semaglutide cheaper than the brand?

The two are different products under different rules. Wegovy® and Ozempic® are FDA-approved, manufactured at scale by their maker, and priced by that manufacturer. Personalized Compounded semaglutide is prepared by a licensed 503A pharmacy for an individual prescription, is not FDA-approved, is not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality before it is marketed, and is not equivalent to the approved products. The price difference reflects that difference in what you are buying.

### Can I cancel a prepaid plan?

Cancellation and refunds are governed by Bodi Envi's published refund policy, which is the authoritative source for eligibility, timing and any fees. Read it before you choose a prepaid term.
