Some research becomes more useful when the underlying information can be examined directly.
Bodi Envi makes selected original datasets available for research, journalism, analysis and machine-readable applications, subject to the terms identified for each dataset.

No original dataset is published here yet. Bodi Envi’s current and planned original research is listed on the Research & Evidence Center.
Each published dataset will receive its own section or permanent page, stating:
Dataset name
Description
Created date
Last updated date
Format (CSV, JSON or HTML)
A link to the methodology behind it
A download link
A recommended citation
License and reuse terms
Data Dictionary
Every dataset will explain its fields. Example:
Provider: Company evaluated
Collection date: Date information was collected
Advertised price: Publicly displayed price
Medication included: Whether medication was represented as included
Shipping included: Whether shipping was represented as included
Pharmacy disclosed: Whether dispensing pharmacy information was publicly identified
Each research project will use definitions specific to its own dataset.
Machine-Readable Formats
When practical, datasets will be provided as:
CSV
JSON
HTML
The HTML version allows people and search systems to review the information without downloading a file.
Citation
Each dataset will carry a recommended citation. Example format:
Bodi Envi. “[Dataset Title].” Bodi Envi Research & Evidence Center. [Year]. Accessed [Date].
Updates
Each dataset will clearly identify whether it is static, or ongoing and periodically updated.
Historical data will never be silently replaced without documenting the update.
Limitations
Every dataset will link to the methodology and limitations associated with the underlying research.
