How to cancel

How to cancel Nutrisystem auto-delivery

What Nutrisystem's own FAQ and help center say about cancelling a plan: chat or phone, the 6:00 p.m. ET cutoff the day before an order, and the discount charge.

What this guide covers

This guide describes how to cancel a Nutrisystem plan using only what Nutrisystem publishes: its FAQ entry “How do I cancel my plan?” and its Help Center page, both read on September 22, 2026. Nutrisystem is a meal delivery program, so the rules are about shipments and warehouse cutoffs rather than prescriptions. Read the linked pages before you act; they govern over any summary here. Nutrisystem is a trademark of its owner, and Apple, the App Store, Google and Google Play are trademarks of theirs.

First, find out how you signed up

Nutrisystem’s plans ship on auto-delivery, and its FAQ frames the cancellation around the next scheduled order rather than a membership date. So the first thing to find is that date: log in to MyAccount and look at the next order and the day it is scheduled to be fulfilled, because Nutrisystem’s cutoff, explained below, is counted from that day.

The second thing is where the charge comes from. If the merchant name is Nutrisystem, the FAQ’s chat and phone routes apply. If the charge comes from Apple or Google, it is an app store subscription and is cancelled in that store, since a company cannot normally cancel a subscription it does not bill. Nutrisystem’s FAQ and help center describe chat, phone and the account only and say nothing about app store billing.

How to cancel on the web or by phone

Nutrisystem’s FAQ says you can cancel your plan by chat or by calling 1-800-585-5483, selecting option 1 and then option 4. The Help Center page gives the same number, with support hours of Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm ET, and its shortcuts list includes “Cancel Auto-Delivery”, which opens the manage next order page of your account behind a login. The FAQ also says cancellations can be managed in MyAccount, though it does not describe the screens, and this guide does not describe screens it has not seen.

The cutoff is the rule to hold onto. Nutrisystem’s FAQ says the cancellation must be made before the 6:00 p.m. ET cutoff the day before your order is scheduled to be fulfilled. Miss it and, in the FAQ’s wording, that order goes ahead and the cancellation applies to the one after. The Help Center’s “Delay My Order” and “Edit My Order” shortcuts are the tools for moving or changing a shipment rather than stopping the plan.

So the practical sequence is: find the next fulfilment date in MyAccount, then before 6:00 p.m. ET on the day before it, either open a chat from the Nutrisystem site or call the number and take the two menu options, and ask for the plan to be cancelled. Note the date, the time and the name of the representative, or save the chat transcript.

Nutrisystem’s FAQ does not name an email address for cancelling a plan, so this guide does not give one.

How to cancel through an app store subscription

If your charges come from Apple or Google, cancel there. These are Apple’s and Google’s own steps, from their support pages read on September 22, 2026.

Apple’s page “Cancel a subscription from Apple” says: on an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the subscription and tap Cancel Subscription, scrolling down if the button is not visible. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, click Subscriptions, click the subscription and click Cancel Subscription. On the web, sign in to your Apple Account, scroll to Settings, click Manage next to Subscriptions, click Edit on the subscription and click Cancel Subscription. Apple says that if there is no Cancel button or an expiration message appears in red, the subscription is already cancelled.

Google’s page “Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play” says: on Android, go to Subscriptions in Google Play, select the subscription, tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions; on a computer, open Subscriptions at Google Play, click Manage, click Cancel subscription, select a reason and click Continue. Google says you keep access for the time you have already paid.

What Nutrisystem publishes about refunds and billing

Nutrisystem’s FAQ on cancelling describes one charge that can follow a cancellation. It says that if you cancel after seven days from the arrival of your first order, but before paying for your second shipment, your payment method will be charged $125 for the auto-delivery discount received on the first shipment. In other words, the FAQ describes the first order’s discount as conditional on continuing to a second, and recovers it if you stop in between. The same FAQ says Nutrisystem is not responsible for bank or credit card fees.

The FAQ on cancelling does not set out a general refund policy for food that has shipped, and this guide does not state one. The Help Center has a Policies category, which is where to look for whatever Nutrisystem publishes on returns and refunds before you decide.

On billing dates, Nutrisystem’s model is that an auto-delivery order is charged as it is fulfilled, which is why the cutoff is tied to the fulfilment day rather than a monthly renewal. The Help Center’s “Update Payment” and “Delay My Order” shortcuts change the card or the date; only a cancellation stops the sequence.

How to confirm it went through

Nutrisystem’s FAQ says the cancellation can be managed in MyAccount, so that is the record to check: after the chat or the call, log in and confirm that no upcoming auto-delivery order is scheduled. Keep the chat transcript or your note of the call, including the representative’s name and the time, since the cutoff is a time of day. Then watch your statement around the date the next order would have been fulfilled, and separately for the $125 discount charge back the FAQ describes, so that neither is a surprise.

If an order is fulfilled after you cancelled before the cutoff, contact Nutrisystem again through chat or the same number with the details of the earlier conversation.

For an app store subscription, Apple’s page says a cancelled subscription shows an expiration message, and Google’s says access continues to the end of the paid period with no further charge.

What to consider next

Nutrisystem’s plans are food plans rather than medical ones, and its pages do not describe medical care. If you are looking at provider guided care instead, Bodi Envi’s programs connect eligible adults with licensed providers for personalized compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, with pricing published on its Plans page. Completing an assessment does not guarantee a prescription; a licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate.
